Itā€™s no secret that Iā€™m passionate about building relationships, and this week I had the opportunity to do just that in a very special place.

Iā€™m currently on vacation in the Dominican Republic, which also happens to be my birthplace. šŸ‡©šŸ‡“ While Iā€™m here, I had the chance to meet with my Keller Williams connection, Cheila Guerrero.

When youā€™re buying or selling outside of my market, I donā€™t just want to recommend a name from a database. I want to connect you with someone I know personally, someone I trust, and someone I know will take great care of you.

Real estate is built on relationships, and those relationships donā€™t stop at state or country lines. They allow me to confidently connect my clients, friends, and family with professionals who share the same values and commitment to exceptional service.

So while this trip is definitely about enjoying time with family and reconnecting with my roots, itā€™s also a reminder that every relationship we build has the potential to help someone else.

One of those closings that felt a little bittersweet. šŸ„°

Most people see closing day as the finish line. For me, itā€™s usually the day I realize Iā€™m going to miss the journey.

Over the past couple of months, we toured so many homes, shared countless laughs, and yesā€¦ I showed up with my trusty cooler full of coconut water for our adventures. šŸ˜Š

What makes this one even more special is that these buyers are the parents of a dear friend who also became a past clientā€¦ and theyā€™ve become like familyšŸ¤©. That seems to happen more often than not, and itā€™s one of the things I love most about what I do.

Helping people find the right home šŸ” is incredibly rewarding, but the relationships built along the way are what stay with me long after the papers are signed.

Closing day isnā€™t the end of our story. Itā€™s just the beginning of a lifelong friendship, and Iā€™m so grateful for every family that has trusted me to be part of such an important chapter.

After nearly two months of searching and countless home tours, we finally found the one.

Starting over wasnā€™t easy.

There were long daysā€¦ plenty of nights wondering if I had made the right decisionā€¦ and more lessons than I can count.

But little by little, things began to fall into place.

Iā€™ve now had the privilege of helping families buy, sell, and relocate to Central Florida, and every closing reminds me why I made that decision.

Of course, Iā€™m proud of the awards, the milestones, and being recognized as one of the top-producing agents in my brokerage.

But thatā€™s not what means the most to me.

The part Iā€™m most proud of is everything that happened in between.

The phone calls from nervous first-time buyers.

The virtual tours for families moving here from another state.

The inspections.
The negotiations.
The challenges.
The happy tears at the closing table.
The friendships that continue long after the keys are handed over.
Those moments are what make this career so rewarding.

Somewhere along the way, my definition of success changed.

Success isnā€™t about how many homes Iā€™ve sold.
