Great read. Elections do matter.

Florida’s Constitution provides,
SECTION 21. Access to courts. —The courts shall be open to every person for redress of any injury, and justice shall be administered without sale, denial or delay.

The bill DeSantis signed into law slashes this right along with so many other provisions, of our Constitution as well as the freedoms provided for in our Federal Constitution.

This legislation will not reduce lawsuits or costs, it will simply save the insurance industry money to the detriment of policyholders.

Due to Hurricane Ian’s impact on the Central Florida area this week, we have decided to postpone the 30th Annual YLS Golf Tournament. We were super excited to have this event this week but everyone’s safety comes first. The new date for the golf tournament will be Friday, January 20th. The event will remain at Omni Champions Gate, International Course. All player spots and sponsorships will be transferred over to the new date. We understand that everyone signed up with the September 30th date in mind. If you are not able to make it for the new date and would need a refund, please let us know by Monday, October 31, 2022.

On behalf of the Golf Tournament Chairs and the YLS Board, we hope that everyone stays safe and dry and we look forward to seeing you on January 20th!
