"The Boo" is here to stay.

Blue Bamboo Center For The Arts has found its home in Winter Park's former library building — and it's thriving. Fully booked through summer. Fundraising up. A brand-new Bravo Stage. An outdoor Jazz Garden on the way. And the beloved Thursday Night Hang, where local pros mentor the next generation of musicians, drawing fans every week.

Founder Chris Cortez dreamed big — and built even bigger. Though he passed away in December, the extraordinary team and board he assembled are carrying his vision forward with everything they've got.

"This is the legacy that Chris left us," says board chair Jeff Flowers. "Music lives in the hearts of musicians and can't be passed on any other way."
