What a week.

This week, in Velez Legal’s first jury trial since opening at the end of 2021, husband-wife duo, Harold Velez & Ady Goss, faced off against the insurance company that accused the Plaintiff of lying and misrepresenting her medical history. They asked the jury to award her only $350, the cost for her first visit to the doctor after the crash, despite having over $151,000 in medical bills. The jury saw right through the defense tactics and awarded her every cent.

Verdict: $355,556.70
Venue: Deland, Volusia County

Fun fact: Harold and Ady met as college students in Deland when they attended . Full-circle moment and the first of many victories.
