Part Time Legal Assistant needed for solo juvenile and mental health law practice. 20 hrs/wk, need availability on Monday afternoons, other hours and days are flexible. Keep up electronic case files, scheduling, assist with trial and hearing prep, answering phones, other front office duties. Areas of practice are juvenile delinquency, dependency and civil commitments. Subject matter can be difficult to read about and sometimes contains images. Civil commitment cases have fast turn around times, so efficiency is a must. The practice is very busy, so excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are needed. Ability to work from home for some of the 20 hours a week if desired.
