✨Walk through day!✨When building a custom home, this walkthrough with the builder is one of the last steps (often around 7-10 days before closing day.) My clients and I met the builder’s rep at the home to identify any final touch up items to be completed. A big portion of this walkthrough is going wild with a roll of blue painters tape and marking all the little paint touch ups needed on walls, trim, doors, ceilings, and even cabinets.
Huge shout out to a builder like this one who jumped right in with us and had no problem marking up drywall and paint imperfections for his crew to address. (Truthfully, some builders seem to take mark ups as a criticism to their work, which is entirely not the case.) It’s always refreshing to work with a new construction team who truly wants the client to have a beautiful new home to move in to, come closing day!
