Great afternoon at the FNBO Women in Business lunch with all four Hightower Reff Law law partners. 👏⚖️ We had the opportunity to hear from Dani Busboom Kelly (UNL women’s volleyball coach) and Kirsten Bernthal Booth (past Creighton women’s volleyball coach) on leadership, teamwork, and navigating challenges.

Their discussion on adaptability, preparation, consistency, and building up your team resonated strongly with us as attorneys. While they lead teams ON the court and we advocate for clients IN court, the principles are remarkably similar — stay prepared, communicate well, trust your team, and “keep the main thing the main thing.” 💼🏐

We always appreciate the opportunity to learn from strong women leaders in our community. And at least one of us (Tosha) was fangirling real hard!
