Nebraska and Iowa witnessed overwhelming and historic devastation last Friday. The tornadoes deeply and tragically affected the communities we serve and even some of our own office families. The local response has been amazing, reflecting the innate compassion and generosity of our community.

At the Nebraska Collaborative Center, we are collecting gently used and new clothing for adults and children at our offices among staff and anyone that may wish to contribute. The items will be donated directly to relief efforts and/or given to nonprofits with resources to ensure the clothing reaches those most in need.

WHAT IS THE NEBRASKA COLLABORATIVE CENTER?

The Nebraska Collaborative Center was established with the mission to transform the experience of dispute resolution into a process that provides healing, hope and opportunities for clients, practitioners and the larger community to grow. We are doing that by bringing together in one space a community of multidisciplinary collaborative professionals dedicated to providing clients with all aspects of care as they go through a life change. The space was founded through the hard work and vision of Jodie McGill.

WHAT are executive Suites?

Executive Suites is a term used to describe an arrangement in which completely independent businesses rent space and share other resources, such as receptionists, conference rooms, copiers, faxes, etc.. This way small businesses can provide a full professional experience to their clients without having to significantly increase their overhead. Tenants are able to focus all of their energy on doing what they do best, while someone else handles the details of maximizing client conveniences for minimal costs.

HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT?

The Nebraska Collaborative Center differentiates itself by providing:

Synergies created by having different businesses with the same vision at the same location

A warm, comfortable environment to engage in our professions and support our clients through the difficult transitions in their lives

Instant access for clients who want to talk to other collaborative professionals with the same vision but different core competencies

Reduced cost to the client. When clients happen to retain collaborative professionals located in the same building as their spouse’s collaborative professionals, they enjoy additional benefits of not paying their professionals to travel to other offices and less of their own time traveling to meet with multiple professionals.

Professionals can reap the benefits of an active referral system and increased business opportunities which is built through relationships and connections with other like-minded professionals in the building. Additionally, the Nebraska Collaborative Center creates a passive referral system which is premised on the idea that clients will choose to work with multiple professionals in the Nebraska Collaborative Center due to the streamlined process and convenience of “one stop shopping,” as well as the idea that professionals of exceptional quality will share the same office space.

Services for tenants

The Nebraska Collaborative Center provides a state-of-the-art environment for its tenants to office within. Amenities featured in the office suite and available for use by all tenants include:

Welcoming, Spacious Reception Area: Our reception area is designed to help every visitor feel welcome from the moment they walk through the doors of the center until the time they are personally greeted and comfortably seated in our beautiful sun lit reception area while they wait for their appointment.

Attractive Conference Rooms and state of the art technology to meet all of our professionals needs: Whether you are meeting with two people or hosting a larger training, all professionals in the Collaborative Center’s community have access to a conference rooms to meet virtually any need.

Patio Space: We have exclusive access to a full patio. This space allow our professionals as well as our clients step into the fresh air (weather providing) and to enjoy a relaxing break in the sunshine (or in the shade) without leaving the office.

Gathering/Eating Areas: Our downstairs break room/gathering area provides a friendly, comfortable atmosphere for our tenants to gather for meals, camaraderie or sharing ideas. The Break room features a kitchen area with refrigerator, microwave, icemaker, filtered water, sink and dishwasher as well as a seating area for lunch.

This area will also host meditation and yoga sessions, as well as a variety of other classes to promote the health and happiness of clients, tenants and the community as a whole.

Printing/Copy/Scanning Centers: Our space has a copy center which all offices are linked to so that all members of the Nebraska Collaborative Center have direct and convenient access for copying, printing and scanning. There is also access to a fax machine.

Unified Phone/internet/Wireless Access: You will have use of a professional phone system with the ability to forward calls to cell phones, conduct conference calling and messaging center

Sound Masking: Each office space, as well as the conference rooms were designed intentionally to provide high level acoustics to allow privacy for both the clients and professionals.

Ample, Free, On-Site Parking: The Nebraska Collaborative Center has its own parking lot so none of yours or your clients’ precious time will be spent looking for a parking spot or plugging meters.

Additional Included Services:

· A receptionist to help with basic scheduling/calendaring, greet clients, offer beverages and answer your phone in your company’s name;

· A presence on the Nebraska Collaborative Center’s website, as well as spotlight features on the Nebraska Collaborative Center’s page;

· Tech support when using conference room technology;

· Unlimited self-service tea, water and coffee;

· Daily mail service and postage at cost;

· Insurance of common areas;

· Daily trash removal and vacuuming;

· Snow maintenance of sidewalks and parking lot; and

· A beautifully maintained outdoor space surrounding the Nebraska Collaborative Center
