For Koley Jessen, our Summer Associate Program has always been about more than one summer.
It’s an important part of how we develop future lawyers and build the next generation of talent at our firm. This year, we welcomed our largest class yet, with 28 law students spending 12 weeks learning from our attorneys, contributing to client work and experiencing different areas of practice.
That makes being named the 2026 Internship Employer of the Year – Metro Region through the Nebraska Emerging Talent Awards especially meaningful.
Launched by the Aksarben Foundation in collaboration with community colleges across the state, the awards recognize employers and individuals helping strengthen Nebraska’s workforce through work-based learning opportunities.
We’re proud of the many people across our firm who invest their time in making the Summer Associate Program what it is and grateful for the students who bring their talent, curiosity and energy to the experience each summer.
