Olympia Arts Walk is a semi-annual community event celebrating the arts. In a typical year, thousands gather in downtown Olympia in both the Spring and Fall for a festive arts experience that uses creativity to connect and engage. Many of our unique downtown businesses and organizations transform their spaces into creative hubs filled with art, demonstrations, and performances. In the streets and sidewalks you will find pop up performances and places to connect around almost every corner.

Arts Walk is a program of the City of Olympia Department of Parks, Arts & Recreation and the Arts Commission, with support provided by local businesses, artists and community partners.

Singer-Songwriters
Calliope Pettis is a classically trained vocalist, self taught instrumentalist and a resident songwriter for the Jeff Co Ed art Bus. When she's not writing educational music, she's writing songs to make sense of the world around her. From sweet guitar ballads to ukulele singalings, she aims to speak to the listener's inner child.
Calliope came to our open mic earlier this year and we loved her... We're hoping you do, too!

Rebecca Egeland feels everything- and she wants you to feel your feelings, too! Inspired by the heaviness, heartbreak and loss that life brings, she writes the 'sad song' trope with her powerhouse vocals and soulful, intimate lyrics. Her music will soothe forgotten parts of you, leaving you feeling seen, connected and hopefully a little less alone.

Lana Rae Jarvis is a singer/songwriter in the proud tradition of indie/folk/pop. Her desire to act took her to LA at 19, and her desire to stop the worst effects of climate change brought her to Olympia this past year to study at Evergreen. Songwriting has been her constant companion along the way. Taking inspiration from songwriters such as Neko Case, Tracy Chapman, and Joni Mitchell, she hopes to come to understand herself and the world a little better through music.

Christy Neal is a vocalist and songwriter, born and raised in Olympia. She spent the majority of her life sharing music with her own children and the children in her preschool. The past few years she is known more for her jazz vocalizing in various ensembles around town. She writes music that is full of soul and hope.
