Thank you to Sheriff Derek Sanders for stopping by this morning and meeting our staff of dedicated technicians and advisors.

Yesterday, I met Sheriff Sanders for the first time at the WOBA meeting and listened to his story of how he got involved in the campaign for Sheriff, the reasons for running, and the challenges he (and we) face as a community.

We are pleased with the job he’s doing, and support his efforts going forward!

You're invited! Celebrate the Olympia-Lacey tour of the SEA&WIN app with a special two-day “Kickoff” event!



The SEA&WIN app, the official mobile game of the Seattle FIFA World Cup 2026™, launched on March 7, 2026, and is free for anyone to download and play. The app guides players on interactive walking tours through Fan Zone cities across the state, including Olympia, Lacey, and Tumwater, where they can complete challenges, answer trivia, and earn points called “tickets.”

While the Olympia-Lacey tour is available at any time, this special two-day kickoff encourages participants to play and redeem their points at Wembley Soccer Shop, located at 3700 Pacific Ave SE, Suite B, Olympia, WA 98501, on Friday, March 27, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. During these hours, players can claim Seattle FIFA World Cup 2026™ prizes. In addition, one lucky winner and a guest who redeem during the event will receive an invitation to attend a FIFA World Cup 2026™ match in Seattle. To be eligible for the match invitation, points must be redeemed at Wembley during these event hours.

“This special SEA&WIN kickoff gives people a fun way to explore our cities while supporting Thurston County businesses,” said David Schaffert, President/CEO of the Thurston County Chamber. “We thank the Seattle FIFA World Cup 2026™ Local Organizing Committee for creating this free app that gets residents and visitors out walking, discovering our neighborhoods, and connecting with our local shops. It’s a fun, interactive way to create economic impact and excitement around the World Cup.”

The SEA&WIN app is available for free on iOS and Android devices. While the kickoff event runs for two days only, the Olympia-Lacey tour and all app activities remain open throughout the tournament.
