I never know what kind of great people I’m going to meet during the course of my day and today it included this convenience store clerk in Dupont. He cheerfully let me plug in an extension cord running from my car into the convenience store because the printer takes a serious amount of juice when it fires up and my RV battery needed a quick boost between appointments.

I see that this Dupont Union 76’s tagline on their page says “Most friendly stop off I-5 freeway” and I’m going to have to say that I agree and they deserve your business.

My clients at two consecutive appointments did stay nice, warm and dry in coffee shops in Dupont and Lacey while I printed their documents out in the rain today. .

Decisions, decisions! I think I’ll take the slightly longer scenic route from Steamboat through Shelton to Gig Harbor for my next appointment. It’s been a beautiful day so far, why stop now.

Friday roundup of notary dogs from home visits this week! They definitely know that there’s treats for them in the bag. In a very impressive move, the 4lb shih tzu discreetly dragged my heavy notary bag a good 5ft away to steal more treats while we were focused on signing estate docs.

My third notary appointment this morning was with this incredible signer! Louise turned 101 years old last week, is as agile as any senior in excellent health, sharp as a whip and just renewed her drivers license for another 6 years. Last year over 300 friends and family gathered to celebrate her 100th birthday, and her equally impressive 92 yr old husband is flying to Alaska for his annual salmon fishing trip next month. My signers continue to redefine my expectations of what any age looks like and meeting them is one of the many reasons I love working so closely with our senior community.
