Many friends, colleagues, clients and family have asked about today’s development and announcement by the Illinois Supreme Court.
With my voluntary agreement, the Illinois Supreme Court has temporarily suspended my license to practice law for a period of time. I voluntarily am stepping away from my practice in order to focus on me. I have no doubt that this will assist me in returning to the practice of law at a future date and will make me an even stronger advocate and lawyer. I’m proudly recovering and every day is a blessing that I’m living to the fullest.
I look forward to that day when I can return to the active practice and representing all of you. I will be contacting each of my clients individually so expect to hear from me by next Friday to go over what’s next.
Know that I appreciate your support and love and please remember this is just temporary, not permanent and something I agreed to in order to make me better…at everything. However, I can’t wait to get back to the office and to get back to work…and I promise you all I will.
Thank you.
