With funding cuts, survivors pay the price.
Free legal aid helps victims of crimes β including survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault β to secure protection orders, keep their children safe, and rebuild their lives. But thousands of crime survivors in Washington are at risk of losing legal help.
Without action from state legislators this session, half of the funding for crime victims in the state budget disappears on July 1.
