Bar members, keep an eye out for an email from the bar with the information for the annual meeting. With the uncertainty of covid we have decided to have the meeting completely virtually this year. This will be a short meeting but we will have officer elections. The new officers will serve a two year term starting Sept. 1, 2021. You can get information about the offices and responsibilities by looking at the bylaws under the bar tab on the Supreme Court's webpage. You must be in good standing to run for office as well as vote so please make sure you're dues are paid and you are in good standing.

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation District Court invites interested attorneys to submit bids for providing legal services to individuals requesting and qualifying for court-appointed representation for the following matters pending in its Court:
• Juvenile deprived, delinquent, vulnerable adults (APS) and other related juvenile matters as assigned by the Court
• Criminal defense

All interested attorneys may apply for one or both areas of representation listed. Deadline for proposals is July 30, 2021 at 5:00 pm. To obtain a copy of the Request For Proposals (“RFP”) packet, visit https://creekdistrictcourt.com/ [creekdistrictcourt.com]

Muscogee Nation Tribal Headquarters will be closed tomorrow, February 19, and will operate virtually.

Leadership and essential staff will be on hand to assess maintenance needs and supply inventory to prepare for full operation and opening on Monday, February 22. Be advised COVID protocol and restrictions will still be in place with headquarters closed to the public until further notice.

Due to inclement weather the Muscogee Nation Tribal Headquarters will be closed tomorrow, February 15, and will operate virtually.

The College of the Muscogee Nation will also be closed, with virtual classes through Friday, February 19.

Please continue to monitor your areas and communities for anyone in need of assistance. Allow your faucets to drip and open your cabinets to get warm air to your plumbing. Multiple layers must be worn for any prolonged exposure. Administration, emergency management, health and law enforcement is continually briefing and updating the situation and will make further announcements when necessary.
