Look what happened to LifeLock again!
Recent news on LifeLock's security flaw as reported here:

See the statement below from IDShield’s Vice-President of Product Leadership, Scott Grissom:
The recent news about LifeLock’s vulnerability underscores the importance of information security best practices because ramifications from events like this can be staggering for consumers. Hackers were able to connect member IDs with member email addresses. Identity theft protection is imperative; however, it should not ever use identifiers, such as member IDs, within its website addresses.
The consumer should always be the priority. By leaving the backdoor open, it left their information vulnerable. Lifelock should have ensured their member information was protected. Once the bad guys get a customer's information, they become open to any number of phishing scams.
IDShield does not have the same vulnerability of exposing its member’s personal email addresses. When choosing an identity theft solution, consumers have the right to superior protection – comprehensive monitoring, guaranteed restoration if something were to happen.
Lots of consumers have already made the right decision by choosing identity protection. Now it’s time to choose the right partner, IDShield!
