The evidence was so inconsistent and untrustworthy that the State voluntarily dismissed their own case in the middle of Mr. Stevenson’s Cross-Examination of their lead witness.

Got one case dismissed at Preliminary Hearing because the State could not prove that the alleged crime occurred in Kay County or even Oklahoma. (State v Thompson, Kay County Case Number CF-24-55)

Got another case dismissed at a Revocation Trial because the State never proved that our client was the person charged with the crimes ie failed to identify him in open court. (State v Braden, Kay County Case Number CF-14-924)

Got our client’s confession suppressed in another case because the State failed to Mirandize him when he was in custody and was not free to leave. (State v. Russell, Kay County Case Number CF-24-67)

NOT GUILTY!

Mr. Stevenson and his client successfully fought the State and convinced a Kay County Jury to find our client Not Guilty of Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute!

The case was always overcharged and the State wanted to put an addict in prison instead of addressing his addiction. The Jury got it right!
