Police said the man isn't behind bars because of the shooting, but he was arrested for possession of a firearm after a former conviction of a felony.

Today, Overman Legal Group filed several Amici Curiae briefs urging the Oklahoma Supreme Court to overturn the legislature’s recent assault on reproductive autonomy and protect Oklahomans’ right to meaningful access to abortion.

Our clients—each presenting their arguments in favor of legal and safe abortion—are the American Medical Association, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, a diverse group of faith leaders from Oklahoma’s places of worship, and a variety of small-business owners across the state.
