Those of you who follow Aaron Gilillan need to be aware of his antisemitism. Hate comes in many forms. The term “juice box” or the 🧃 emoji has no real legitimate use.
Instead, it has emerged in recent years as a coded, antisemitic term used online by extremists and bigots to refer to Jewish people or things related to Jewish culture.
The usage stems purely from the phonetic similarity between the word “juice” and “Jews” in English. The term is used in social media posts, memes, and even merchandise, primarily to espouse demonizing rhetoric while attempting to evade content moderation by platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter). Most platforms have banned or controlled its usage.
