"Not Guilty"

Another hard fought victory for our client.

Mr. Zach Simmons was charged with felony leaving the scene of an accident after he unknowingly ran over a woman outside a bar in Guthrie. The woman and her group were extremely intoxicated and had converged on Mr. Simmons truck and were a threat to his safety. Mr. Simmons did what would be expected of any individual, and he left the area.

Mr. Simmons faced a decade behind bars.

After a week long jury trial, justice was finally had with their unanimous "Not Guilty" verdict.

Congratulations to Mr. Simmons.

SUCCESS IN THE COURTROOM

Another client, Facing Life in Prison and a DA who would settle for nothing less than 10-years, avoids incarceration after choosing Adams & Associates to competently represent her.

Guthrie resident Paige Powell, 26, was traveling on U.S. Highway 77 and County Road 70 in the early morning hours of February 9, 2014.

Riding with her was her best friend and roommate.

Powell, driving, was involved in a single car accident that killed her passenger and best friend.

The prosecution alleged Powell was drunk and driving. We alleged there was much more to the story and incarceration was unwarranted and not in anyone's best interest.
