TFW when you wake up and read “you’re the worst thing that’s ever happened” to your state.

The comments came from Rep. Mike Flood of Nebraska, whose attorney general recently joined Louisiana and Indiana in a lawsuit seeking to block the federal rescheduling of medical ma*****na.

Why can’t we just grow apart, Mike? Why do you have to hit the heart like that? 💔

If you’re a non-citizen participating in Oklahoma’s medical ma*****na industry, your state license doesn’t tell the whole story.

Oklahoma law permits non-citizen ownership, employment and investment, but federal immigration law operate on its own terms, and DEA registration requirements are raising the stakes.

These slides should help you understand where the risks live before you file. They are *not* legal advice.

The DEA’s Diversion Control Division has officially posted notice on its registration portal: updated applications are coming for Medical Ma*****na Manufacturers, Bulk Manufacturers (growers/cultivators), Analytical Labs, and Distributors, all specific to Schedule III handling under AG Order No. 6754-2026.

If you’ve already submitted under the current Form 225, don’t panic, the DEA says there’s no need to reapply. They’ll be reaching out to continue processing.

For those ready to apply now, the existing Form 225 can still be used — just make sure you’re selecting the appropriate drug codes.

This space is moving fast. We’re watching every update to move you through it.

If you have questions about your DEA registration, reach out today.

DEA registration isn’t one-size-fits-all. And for dispensaries, the type of activity you’re conducting determines what you need to file.

Most OMMA dispensaries doing pure retail patient sales fall under the § 1301.13(k) expedited pathway. But if your operation involves transfers to other licensees, wholesale activity, or FDA-approved pharmaceutical products, your registration picture looks different, and a dispensary registration alone may not cover everything.

The to;dr: The federal framework follows activity, not your state license type. One location can require multiple registrations.

The 60-day expedited window is open. If you’re a dispensary operator trying to understand what registration actually looks like for your specific operation, that’s exactly what we do.

HB 3143 is on the Governor's desk and a moratorium extension is likely on the way.

The measure also prohibits the transfer of licenses with pending action, such as suspension, non-renewal or revocation petition, and bars licensees from transferring for a minimum of six months following the completion of that action's term.

HB 3143 has passed the legislature and was sent to the Governor's desk April 29th, 2026. If signed into law, the bill will extend the existing licensing moratorium and prohibit the transfer of licenses pending any administrative action. The Moratorium Gets Two More Years
