We’ve welcomed a lot of new followers since our rebrand in April, so we wanted to reintroduce you to Veronica Townsend, managing attorney and sole owner of House of Townsend, P.A.

A proud lifelong Sussex Countian, Veronica’s roots on Delaware’s southern coast run deep. After earning her degree from the University of Delaware, she attended Elon University School of Law, where she graduated from an accelerated program while serving as Student Bar Association President and Membership Editor of the Elon Law Review.

Veronica first joined the firm (originally The Law office of Susan Pittard Weidman, P.A., and later Weidman & Townsend, P.A.) as a law clerk in 2017, where she discovered her passion for helping local families, businesses, and individuals navigate important legal matters. After passing both the Delaware and Maryland bar exams, she became sole owner of the firm in 2022. Today, she focuses on real estate settlements, estate planning, estate administration, and business formation.

Beyond her legal practice, Veronica is passionate about supporting the local community through education, advocacy, and involvement in the business community. When she’s not serving clients, you can find her enjoying fashion, pilates, tennis, travel, karaoke, Bravo TV, cheering on the Orioles and Ravens, and spending time with family and friends.

Veronica’s love for Southern Delaware shines through in everything she does. She considers it a privilege to use her voice, legal expertise, and positive attitude to help clients achieve their goals and navigate life’s important milestones.
