🚨 Did you recently receive a notification that your Work Permit was "Revoked"? Don't panic! 🚨

If you have been checking your USCIS account and saw an alarming update stating, "I-765 Automatically Revoked- due to the approval or denial of the underlying form," you are not alone.

Many people are receiving these notices right now, and we know seeing the word "revoked" can cause a lot of anxiety. However, if your Green Card (I-485) was recently approved, there is no need to worry!

USCIS has a new policy of going back through their system and revoking Forms I-765 (Applications for Employment Authorization) and I-131 (Applications for Travel Document) for individuals who already have approved Green Cards. Because you are now a Lawful Permanent Resident, you no longer need those temporary documents. This is just a routine, administrative update to close out old applications, even for clients who have pending Removal of Conditions cases.

Take a deep breath—your permanent resident status is completely safe!
