To my brothers and sisters of the Ocala FOP Lodge 129 & FOP Lodge 145 who may have received a personal email over the past day or two with some heart breaking news about one of our current members held between a rock and a hard place due to a recent loss in their family who was vacationing out of state… and to all the other friends and family members of said member in question:

I want to personally thank you all for the enormous outpouring of love we’ve thus far received on their gofundme page (https://gofund.me/c7752595) to assist with funeral costs and mealtrain page (https://mealtrain.com/edq111) to help offset the additional energy needed to cook for themselves or figure out what to pick up for take out these next few days.

It is greatly appreciated by the family, and words cannot express how amazing each and every one of you are for the amount of donations we’ve received thus far, as well as for those of you who have also shared their story to others for greater outreach. Thank you for being our village. 🚔⭐️❤️

We’re still not out of the woods yet, but every little bit helps for sure! 🥰 Thus far, we’ve raised over $500 in memorial/travel expenses for the family, and have dinner covered for at least the next few days! One of the sweetest people I know just lost her dad unexpectedly while he was out of state on vacation… anything you might be able to contribute to help bring him home and assist with handling his estate definitely brings a huge relief of burden left on their family! I’ve also started a meal train for their family of six in the next coming days while the above is being handled, any and every bit of assistance you can offer with meal prep, food delivery, gift cards for take out, etc. would be appreciated on the home front!
