Kurt G. Sarringhaus, Esq. | 1976–2026

This year marks an extraordinary milestone for Kurt G. Sarringhaus—50 years in the practice of law.

After graduating summa cm laude from Ohio University in 1973, Kurt earned his law degree cm laude from The Ohio State University College of Law in 1976. That same year, he was admitted to the Ohio Bar and began practicing law in Oberlin, Ohio, where he has remained a respected member of the legal and local community for five decades.

Throughout his remarkable career, Kurt has devoted his practice to helping individuals and families navigate some of life's most important decisions, particularly in the areas of estate planning, probate, estate administration and trust administration. His service has extended beyond his law practice through his longstanding involvement in the Oberlin community.

In recent years, the name on the office door may have changed—from Kurt G. Sarringhaus Co., L.P.A., and today, Sarringhaus & Scott—but Kurt's commitment to his clients and community has remained constant.

Fifty years. Generations of clients. Countless families served. One extraordinary legal career—and a legacy that continues.
