Legal Technicians are licensed to provide legal advice on Family Law matters and assist Pro Se individuals (people filing without a lawyer) by obtaining and explaining relevant documents, facts, and applicable procedures, selecting, completing, filing, and serving documents, setting court hearings and other necessary actions as approved by the client within limited scope of practice. LLLT's may assist and confer with clients in court and depositions, but may only respond to direct questions regarding factual and procedural issues. THE CLIENT IS ALWAYS IN CHARGE. You represent yourself, I advise and assist as allowed within my scope and as discussed with the client.
