SALEM, MA is a GREAT PLACE TO LIVE!!

For those who want to visit this Halloween season (or whenever actually!) to explore the city's darker past and supernatural lore…

These would be my favorite experiences for those who love history and the paranormal 😳😳😳

1. The Salem Witch Museum: This museum offers a detailed look at the witch trials of 1692 through full on stage sets, figures, and narration. It is an immersive experience to learn about the history and hysteria surrounding the trials.

2. The October Haunted Happenings Festival: This annual festival takes place throughout the month features various events such as ghost tours, psychic readings, costume balls, street fairs, and more. Visitors can explore the town's spooky side while enjoying themed activities and entertainment.

3. Bewitched After Datk Walking Tours. These guided tours take visitors on a journey through Salem's dark history, including stories of witches, ghosts, and other supernatural occurrences. The guides share eerie tales and legends, creating a spooky atmosphere for participants.

4. The House of the Seven Gables: This historic site, made famous by Nathaniel Hawthorne's novel of the same name, offers guided tours that delve into the property's history and alleged hauntings. Visitors can explore the grounds and learn about the darker tales associated with the house.

Otis, MA is a great place to live!
Some fun facts.
1. Otis, Massachusetts is known for being the birthplace of famous American sculptor and artist Daniel Chester French, who created the iconic statue of Abraham Lincoln at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.
2. The town of Otis hosts an annual Otis Ridge Ski Area Beach Party, a unique event that combines winter sports with a beach-themed celebration, featuring sand, palm trees, and tropical drinks.

Canton, MA is a great place to live!

We visited Winter Lights, an annual lighted pathway through the Trustees of Massachusetts site, The Bradley Estate.

We love to support this group, you can buy tickets in their website. It’s about a 30-60 minute walk with music and treats like hot chocolate and cider offered along the route.

Woof!!! Boston (and Cambridge and Newton and more) are great places to live if you’re a dog!!!

Mayor Wu of Boston, has recently signed a new law that allows dogs into WAY more outdoor spaces around the city 🐶!!!

Called "An Act Relative to Dog-Friendly Outdoor Spaces," designates certain areas as dog-friendly, including specific sections of parks and community gardens (still requiring dogs be kept on leashes and under control at all times and that owners pick up after their pets… 💩). ❤️

This is such a win/win for dog lovers and will positively impact the local economy too. Many of us love to travel with pets, which will create a greater demand for pet-friendly hotels and outdoor restaurants.

Lots of our towns in MA offers amazing spots for both humans and their furry friends 🐶

In Cambridge, you can take your pup to the Fresh Pond Reservation Dog Park, which features off-leash areas and scenic walking trails. After playing with your pooch, head over to Forage to enjoy a meal on their outdoor patio with your furry friend by your side.

In Newton, visit the picturesque Cold Spring Park with your dog before grabbing a bite to eat at Social Restaurant & Bar. They offer outdoor seating and even have a "yappy hour" menu for dogs.

Taunton, MA is a great place to live!
