I thought this was brilliant. Stacy Tecler told me that when she starts with a new purveyor, and they ask her what kind of parsley she wants (flat or curly) she starts laughing, then the purveyor starts laughing, and then they both laughing. Then she says “Did you really just ask me that” and they usually reply “Yeah, sorry” and a friendship is formed. forged out of respect, for they know. They now know what kind of Chef she is and they don’t need to throw out anymore feelers!
