This deal fills me with so much joy because this is where my expertise as an agent helped a first time home buyer. This buyer has searched for months, possibly 1 year + and we just kept getting outbid and outbid, but as many know, timing is also key. When he reignited his search again, he texted me, I’m ready and we can go over asking if needed. We found a few houses, but this massive property stood out. It’s a beautiful gem however it did needed some work. Although he wanted to go in strong, we told him to hold that thought. We did comps, took into consideration the repairs and were able to save him a good amount of money that he could use towards making this home up to his standards. The point is, sometimes the wait is worth it, and although we may get impatient at times, never act on impulse and most importantly, work with someone who will have your best interest at heart.
