Recently, numerous prospective clients have disclosed that they are not receiving mental health treatment due to prolonged waiting periods of up to six months to see a counselor. This lack of treatment will undoubtedly hinder their ability to obtain a Disability Benefits approval.

For the past 30 years I've been practicing Social Security Disability and personal injury cases. Dealing with the Social Secuirty Administration has not been easy or the most lucrative part of my business, but it is the most rewarding; everyday is a brawl; whether it's a case worker or a judge, it’s an uphill battle. I do this to help people and no other law, in my opinion, allows a lawyer to help those who are most in need in our communities.

What I've learned is that if I can handle Social Security Disability cases, I can handle anything!

Over the years I’ve added relevant areas of law to my practice: Estate Planning, Probate, and most recently non-legal work; Real Estate Sales! What I've learned so far as a KW Agent, is that I truly love helping people and when you love what you do that venture will be successful. Law is tough. Fighting Government Agencies is no joke which is why I added Real Estate Sales to my day. I wanted to do something more personal and creative while utilizing my negotiating skills to benefit clients in a different way from law. And it’s fun! Are my days and nights even busier, yes but I couldn’t be happier learning and developing this new venture has been so fun!

Although I’ve added real estate sales, I will continue to practice law primarily. My clients need me, and there are so many that I turn away because I am too busy. Time and time again, I am unable to help folks with Social Security Disability claims because they either lack treatment or they fail to complain about their symptoms. 😳😔

Good morning,

The office will be closed for the next few days due to staff illness, awaiting Covid testing results. Please email me/DM with any questions you may have regarding your case.

In person hearings for Social Security Disability cases are still on hold until further notice. Video hearings are not set up yet and I cannot tell you when the hearing offices will be trained and set up.

Only telephone hearings are being offered. I have an opinion about telephone hearings which I can talk to you directly about before you decide to go forward.

COVID-19 Eviction Legal Help Project (CELHP), free legal help for low-income tenants as well as low-income owner-occupants of 2-3 family properties navigating the eviction process. (www.resolutionma.org).

For the legal services income eligibility is capped at 200% of federal poverty level. Legal services www.evictionlegalhelp.org.

Households can also call 2-1-1 and learn more at the Department of Housing and Community Development’s website, www.mass.gov/CovidHousingHelp.

Legal help is available right now for income-eligible tenants facing eviction. We strongly encourage seek help as soon as possible, before a court filing occur

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has resources available to help residents impacted by COVID-19 to cover rent and mortgage payments.

It is important to stay in treatment and visit your doctors office during this time. If you have a Social Security Disability claim, evidence of your disability is imperative.

Without evidence of complaints and doctors observations of your limitations, you will find it extremely difficult to be successful at being approved for benefits.
