My story; I am a 65, almost 66, year old woman with stage 4 cancer. My plans, my trip, and hopefully one that you will join me via this blog, is for 12 to 15 months in 12 to 15 countries. That is a different country every month.

Until very recently Miami did not keep pace with other large and frequently visited Cities in regards to the number of good and exciting restaurants. It is about time that new and classic restaurants are opening. When people travel they expect to find restaurants, bars and food locations to go to that are interesting and exciting. Food that is different and interesting is considered one of the most important aspects of a fulfilling vacation.
The population in Miami is growing in tremendous numbers and new restaurants are a must. If we are seeing too many new restaurants opening too soon, it will be the local patrons that will make the final decision. The verdict is still out. I concur with Henry Torres, Miami real estate is now selling to a local market; however, the definition of local is extremely broad when he also states that Florida is one of the fastest growing state in the nation and people are moving form the Northeast, Midwest and Canada. Sales in existing single family homes and condominiums have not decreased in South Florida. There appears to be a substantial uptick in these sales since the beginning of last year. I suspect unless there is another crash, Florida real estate will continue to sell at a premium.
