After having walked through this issue firsthand last year, one should prepare health instructions, and name someone you trust to communicate those instructions if you are unable.

These documents, A Living Will and Medical Power of Attorney, assist medical professionals and family, in knowing your treatment plans and life decisions.

Decisions will have to be made in these circumstances, and you should prepare with these documents so your decisions, and your wishes, are presented and followed.

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to escalate, doctors around the U.S. are joining lawyers and financial advisors in urging Americans to create the essential documents necessary to help medical providers better coordinate care.

We are proud to have co-sponsored this event, and served a lot of cobbler, to honor our City employees. These folks kept all running during the flood and ensuing cleanup. Many accolades to them during this very trying time for our City. Things don’t just happen, the reason you didn’t hear about more issues with floodwaters is that the City addressed them before they were an issue. Thank you City of North Little Rock.
