Striped Bass Season Reminder: All areas of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries are open to recreational striped bass fishing from September 1 to December 5. Anglers may keep 1 fish per person, per day, with a minimum length of 19 inches and a maximum length of 24 inches.

Fair winds, Greenport! PRIDE II departs Greenport today around 1 PM, following a wonderful visit where we welcomed folks aboard for deck tours & day sails. Thank you to the people of Greenport for your warm hospitality & for welcoming PRIDE II to a town with such a rich maritime history.

With provisions topped up, PRIDE II is now homeward bound for the Chesapeake Bay!

We are thrilled to be returning to Havre de Grace, a port town at the headwaters of the Chesapeake with a deep connection to the War of 1812 & the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail. It is a fitting place for PRIDE II to make her return to the Bay.

While in Havre de Grace, PRIDE II will be open to the public for FREE deck tours.

🦄🏴‍☠️ PIRATES HAVE INVADED UNICORN QUEST!

A most unexpected alliance has formed in North East today... unicorns and pirates.✨

Pirates from nonprofit besties Community Connecting Us and The High 5 Initiative will be at Unicorn Quest, handing out pirate tattoos and flyers for the upcoming Port Deposit Pirate Takeover. ☠️⚓

And we have to give a hearty ARRR! to High 5, who has been one of our pirate partners for all five years of the Takeover. They’ve been part of the crew from the start, and we’re mighty grateful for them. ❤️🏴‍☠️
