FYI for our local friends!

Work on the Kelley Boulevard Roadway Improvements Project is set to begin Tuesday, September 8.

This major project will include replacing and extending sidewalks along Kelley Boulevard from George Leven Drive past Route 106 in Plainville, installing a new traffic signal at George Leven Drive, and significantly widening the Route 152/Route 106 intersection to improve traffic flow.

Work will begin on Man-Mar Drive, with crews starting curbing and drainage work on the west side of the roadway and removing and resetting curbing from Man-Mar Drive to George Leven Drive.

Motorists should expect temporary lane closures and possible detours at Man-Mar Drive for several days as this initial work gets underway.

The overall project is expected to take approximately 15–18 months to complete. Some construction that requires work across the roadway will take place at night to help minimize traffic impacts.

Please use caution when traveling through the area and follow all posted signage and directions from police and construction crews.

Random humble brag… in the last couple of weeks, two things have made us exceptionally proud at WJS:

1. We were able to resolve THREE matters within one week where opposing counsel for all the matters same was the same person. Big shoutout to the other attorney who wanted to work with me towards resolution, rather than cause chaos, without sacrificing our client’s goals.
2. We are able to return TWO retainers for unused funds. We always try to guesstimate how much a case might cost and we are thrilled when we’re wrong in a positive way.
