The Bell Law Firm has received several phone calls over the past few weeks from workers who were injured at work, but let the Statute of Limitations run on filing a claim. There is a VERY LIMITED TIME FRAME in which to file a workers' compensation claim, and an injured person should always consult with their attorney as soon as possible after they are injured to avoid losing benefits that they are entitled to. ALERT: TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF FILINGS AND CASE INFORMATION ACCESS WITH THE OKLAHOMA WORKERS' COMPENSATION COMMISSION AND COURT OF EXISTING CLAIMS
From Friday, August 20, 2021 at 5 pm to Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 5 pm
The Commission and Court will be performing a data migration to its new information database system, CaseOK. This process will require the Commission and Court to limit many court and records services during this period of time.
Basically what this means is the Courts will be closed during this time period. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact us.
