Broad Creek Renaissance has received more than 100 applications in just this week alone! You’ve wowed us with your interest! Unfortunately, the waitlists must now be closed effective today’s date to allow us the ability to process all the applications received in these weeks and notify everyone of the screening decisions.

About our application process:

Applications can be picked up from the main office at 1420 Merrimac Ave, Norfolk VA 23504 at your convenience Mon-Fri from 10am-5pm. However we accept the completed applications on Tuesdays and Thursdays only! The applications are pretty lengthy and require a lot of information, so we encourage applicants to complete their packets in the office from 1pm-3pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays so we can assist if needed or answer any questions you might have.

Applications are processed in the order that they are received, if you provide a personal email address on your application you will receive email notification of the application approval or denial as soon as it is generated. If you do not have access to email, a letter will be mailed using the address provided. The mailing process takes a bit longer, so we advise applicants that it can take up to a week to receive your decision via mail.

Should your application be approved, you will be contacted regarding additional items we'll need to qualify your application. The great news is we have immediate availability! So we look forward to welcoming you into the neighborhood soon!

While in the office completing or retrieving applications, please dress appropriately. Remove all bonnets or headscarves, no pajamas or inappropriate attire, and please refrain from the use of cell phones. It's important to be respectful of the other applicants and staff, and really put your best face forward!

Good morning new applicants!

Please make note that applications are accepted on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1pm-3pm. To complete the application you must bring along birth certificates and social security cards for all household members (even your mini me's!), and everyone 18 years of age or older must bring State Issued ID. No Exceptions!

We are currently accepting applications for all Income Based, Income Restricted, and Conventional Rate homes! Applications will be accepted on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m!
