We’re proud to support Bucktown Sports Club as they work to build something special for young athletes in the Buchanan area.

Their first tryout was held yesterday, with a second tryout coming up on September 10th. Both dates are optional, but players are encouraged to attend.

We love what they’re emphasizing beyond just basketball — focus, attitude, coachability and effort — and we’re excited to see this program get started.

Balanced Accounting & Tax Services is looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist to join our team.
We're looking for someone with strong accounting and bookkeeping experience who can work independently, take ownership, review financials, and help take some of the accounting workload off our plate.
This is a local, in-office position with full-time hours during tax season and reduced hours during the off-season.
Starting at $26/hour, commensurate with experience, plus additional bonus opportunity.

Still waiting on your Michigan state refund? You're not alone — a new Treasury processing system has caused delays for taxpayers across the state this year.

We found our local state representative's email and reached out in hopes of some insight. Their office got back to us and said we could refer clients to them directly.

To contact Rep. Paquette's office yourself: email [email protected] or call (517) 373-1793 with your Name, Address, Phone Number, Email, last 4 of your Social Security number, and Letter ID/Account # (if applicable).

If you'd rather have us reach out on your behalf, we'll need you to sign a Michigan Power of Attorney (Form 151) first. Contact our office to get that started.

This girl passed her final Enrolled Agent exam this morning!!! Wooty woot! 🎉
Now she just has to apply for enrollment, which includes a background check. And if she doesn’t pass that…well, she’s got some ‘splainin to do. 😂
