Great to be back in Orlando this week for Advanced Shooting Reconstruction. OPD has an impressive facility with 25, 50, and 100 yd indoor ranges. This photo is what it looks like when your agency is serious about their tactical teams being equipped for safety and success. This is one of four, each purposefully built for different scenarios. If the SP is serious about building a new training facility, there are some incredible examples around the country try we have had the privilege of teaching in. Most of them also rent to outside agencies to offset costs. The training income of these places is incredibly advanced from what we see in NJ. We can learn from these agencies and bring it to another level!

Enjoyed a great week at the Virginia State Police Training Center in Blackstone, VA representing the University of Tennessee-National Forensic Academy! Always great to spend time with Troopers from different states. State of the art training center and great men and women! Thank you VSP!

We wake again this morning to a horrific situation ongoing in Lewiston, Maine. The mental health issues of this individual will soon become known. Although it is not often the first topic discussed after an incident, documented mental health issues are present in EVERY SINGLE one of these tragic events. We are praying for the victims and all the brave Law Enforcement officers searching for the shooter.
