Caldwell County Schools Student Support Staff provided information about School Social Workers, School Nurses and School Guidance Counselors with our GAL Volunteers this morning at our monthly meeting.

Catawba staff have started the Fall season out right by attending some great community events. A huge THANK YOU to GAL Volunteer Debbi Politano for getting us the opportunity to attend the Faith and Health Summit. We not only got to talk about our program, but also got to hear from amazing speakers. We then started off the weekend joining other programs and local vendors at the Maiden Fall Fest🍂

Today we honor teachers for World Teacher's Day. Teachers are often the consistent and stable presence in a child's life, providing safety and predictability when the world around them feels chaotic. You may not feel called to be a teacher but you can still be a life changing presence in a child's life by being their voice and advocating for them. Become a Guardian ad Litem and make a difference.
