The April 2018 Visa Bulletin shows a final action date of January 1, 2012, for the EB-1 category for India and China. If demand slackens, it could become current again in the late summer. Immigrants should be checking the Visa Bulletin monthly and can have the Bulletin emailed to them if they sign up online.

I just posted a blog on the US Department of State's Visa Bulletin for April 2018, which determines availability for immigrant visa (green card) numbers. The EB1 category for China and India will backlog to January 1, 2012.

A federal court in CA blocked the Trump Administration's revocation of DACA grants based on unproven allegations or minor offenses that do not affect eligibility for DACA. The court also ordered the government to reinstate the those whose DACA status was unlawfully revoked.

The Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS) published a report indicating that it intends to remove from its regulations eligibility for employment authorization for H-4 spouses (whose spouses have approved 140s) by June 2018. These H4 spouses should consider being sponsored for an H-1B cap case for April 1st.

I just obtained an L-1A intracompany petition approval in record time and without a request for evidence. for an internationally-recognized auto conglomerate. I am extensively preparing my H-1B cap cases so that they can go as smoothly.
