Attorney Aaron Levinson was able to negotiate a good resolution on a criminal case with immigration implications. The client was in custody on the criminal charges with an ICE hold preventing her release if bond were posted. Aaron worked with an immigration attorney to figure out how potential outcomes would affect her immigration case. Today, the client pled guilty to one amended charge, with the second charge being dismissed. This resolution will allow the client to voluntarily deport rather than remain in custody during immigration proceedings. The client’s family was so pleased that they stopped by the office with flowers!
