On May 5, 2019, our Client was wrapping up his evening in Providence when an altercation erupted. While our firm unequivocally discourages involvement in fights, it's essential to note that our unarmed Client found himself facing a life-threatening situation as a knife was brandished against him during the confrontation. In the heat of the moment, our Client defended himself, resulting in injuries to the armed aggressor.
In situations like these, where the police strive to maintain order in Providence's establishments, the complexities of such incidents can sometimes lead to ambiguities which result in unjustified criminal charges.
