One day, my son will understand that integrity isn’t about doing what’s easy, popular, or profitable.

Sometimes doing the right thing means walking away from things you value. It can cost you friendships, opportunities, approval, and even a career you never thought you'd leave.

But character is built in the moments when you have something to lose and you choose to do what’s right anyway.

I hope he learns that you don’t measure your life by how much you can gain or how much you can get away with.

You measure it by what you’re willing to stand for when standing up comes with a cost.

Integrity over approval. Always. Thank you

"Beyond a reasonable doubt" you've heard it in every courtroom drama, but do you know what it really means? It's not about eliminating ALL doubt. It's about proving the government's case so strongly that there is no reasonable doubt left.

As a former prosecutor and defense attorney, I’ve explained this hundreds of times: if any logical reason exists to believe the person might not have committed the crime, and that doubt is reasonable, the jury must find them not guilty. It’s not about perfection; it’s about fairness, and it's one of your strongest legal protections.

Supporting Lindsay doesn’t mean ignoring the seriousness of the allegations.

It means remembering that a criminal charge is not a conviction. The State must prove every element of the offense beyond a reasonable doubt. And until they do, the person charged is presumed to be innocent.

It means expecting law enforcement to conduct a thorough, unbiased investigation and look into every possible suspect, not just the easy one.

It means demanding a criminal justice system that seeks truth and justice. Because those beautiful children deserve it.

And based on everything I've seen... those align with supporting Lindsay too.

Deadlocked doesn’t mean done.

So what happens when a jury just can’t agree?

The prosecution’s mistakes matter.

In this part of my Lindsay Clancy trial breakdown, I’m looking at some of the DA’s biggest missteps, particularly during the questioning of Lindsay’s mother, and why those moments may have mattered more than they seemed.

And now, with reports that the jury is deadlocked, those decisions in the courtroom are even more interesting to look back on.

This case is complicated. The evidence is difficult. And when you’re asking a jury to reach a unanimous decision, every question, every witness and every strategic choice matters.

What stood out to you during the prosecution’s questioning?

So why should the DA have stopped right there?

I have my reason but would love to hear yours first.

What mistake do you think the DA made?

Part 3 coming next...

⚖️ Follow now so you don’t miss Part 2.

The Lindsay Clancy case is bigger than one trial, and the outcome could have an impact we haven’t seen before.
We’re breaking down the case from the perspective of a former prosecutor, now criminaldefense attorney, including Lindsay Clancy’s defense attorney Kevin Reddington, his strategy, the prosecution’s case, and the legal questions that could reach far beyond this courtroom.
There is A LOT to unpack here. This is Part 1, and we’re getting into what Reddington is doing with the defense, what the prosecution is up against, and why the outcome of this case could change the legal conversation moving forward.
