Proud to announce this closing! It took a lot of creative problem solving to bring it across the finish line for our buyers. Many people think our job as realtors is to simply get to an agreeable price and call it a day. While the sticker price on a closing is what everyone remembers, what we do to navigate obstacles while keeping everyone happy and protected is where we shine. The reality is no deal is with out its obstacles and you need realtors in your corner who can navigate the obstacles in a professional manner.

NOW & THEN - pretty cool to see this big time upgrade. The Army Navy store was one of those “how is that place still there?” spots. While no one really had an answer, we kind of just accepted it as a layer in The Shores quirk cake. I remember going in there when I was 12 with my buddies to buy air soft guns and having wars on the beach in front our house - things were a little different in the 90’s. Happy to see what has done with place and looking forward to see their success.

Happy Ben Carlson day. For those of you who don’t know - Ben was an experienced waterman and lifeguard. 8 years ago today our friend went into unusually heavy surf and inevitably sacrificed his life so a struggling swimmer could live. It’s an emotional day for all of us, but reflecting back on how his heroic act brought us closer together is something to be proud of and smile about. The paddle is one of those things. One year after Bens passing, our good friend decided he wanted to do something impactful to honor Ben’s legacy while raising money for the - a 30 mile endurance paddle across the channel from Catalina to Newport. I’ve been honored and humbled to paddle it 4 times and beyond stoked to be on boat assist for during his aquatic journey this year.
