Five Things You May Not Know About Me:

1 When I was a kid, I always wanted to be an attorney, loving the idea of standing up for people in court. 💪🏼

2 Ian and I have been together for 15 years now, and we had our COVID wedding right on the front lawn five years ago. It was small but perfect.🥰

3 Before real estate I spent more than 10 years working in immigration, guiding folks through all those tricky processes. 📝

4 I have a bunch of hobbies to keep things fun, like collecting cars (I own four Alfa Romeos myself, two with standard transmissions) and singing Italian opera. 🎤

5 I have 25-year-old twins, Jason and Bianca, from a previous marriage who are all moved out and living on their own. 🩷 Now it’s just Ian and me, in the house which started to feel so large and empty without them, so I filled it with dogs to bring back the chaos. 🤪 🐕‍🦺

The most intense client I’ve ever worked with?

Hands down the single most exhausting, detail-obsessed, and high-pressure transaction of my entire career.

Nobody else has ever come close.

They:

• Made offers on everything out of desperation to buy something. Even homes they would have hated shortly after moving into.

•Were neck-deep in a 203k renovation loan, so every single detail had to be triple-checked: bids, scopes, timelines, draw schedules… everything

• Tried to completely control everything including contractor quotes, rehab budgets, and HUD requirements

• Panicked hard when TRID regulations dropped right at the finish line and delayed closing.

• Blew up my phone and the lender’s inbox with nonstop calls and emails demanding updates, workarounds, and ways to force the closing to happen faster.

There were moments I honestly wasn’t sure any of us would survive the process. 😅

And then it hit me HARD…

The most intense client I’ve ever had was…

ME!

This was my own South Berwick purchase 10 years ago, my first 203k loan and the reason I got licensed in real estate. It was definitely a humbling experience.

A 203k (or any home purchase) is personal.

When it’s your money, your timeline, and your future home hanging in the balance, especially with renovation loans, stress is inevitable.
