This looks like a fun little adventure!
On July 11th the Maine Lavender Festival kicks off in Berwick as one of the most beautiful and memorable festivals of the year in the Pine Tree State! Held at Lavender Hill Farm on July 11th and 12th, 2026, this third annual summer festival runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days and brings visitors onto a small family farm filled with lavender, sheep, Christmas trees, music, food, and hands-on fun.
The biggest draw is the farm’s LavYrinth, a triple-spiral lavender path set into the hillside, with three entry points leading through rows of lavender toward a shared center. The LavYrinth was newly planted in 2025 with about 500 lavender plants, so by July 2026 it should be even fuller and more beautiful for festival guests. Visitors can stroll the fields, take photos, and cut their own lavender bouquet for $20 after stopping at the harvest station, where scissors and rubber bands are provided. There will also be $20 flower crown making, where guests can build a crown with lavender and other blooms while surrounded by the scent of the farm.
Food and drinks are part of the day too, with lavender lemonade, ice cream, food truck specials, and a lavender cook-off featuring baked goods, drinks, soups, and more. Live music is planned both days, including performances by Ashlyn Bard, while farm tours, sheep shearing, fiber spinners, a blacksmith, and a community mural add even more to see. Kids can enjoy face painting, play areas, children’s music, fairy costumes, and hands-on activities, making this a fun summer outing for families, flower lovers, and anyone looking for a beautiful Maine farm experience!
