he next time your teen opens up their Facebook, Instagram or Messenger, there will be new safety features in place. Meta says its Teen Accounts’ new 13+ content settings are expanding globally on those platforms. And it's testing a new way to help ensure teens aren’t seeing certain types of content repeatedly.

The tech company says it realizes what is trending and it wants to limit any harmful content shown. Meta points to posts about nutrition, weightlifting and coping with anxiety. Meta says it's testing ways to limit how many times teens see these types of posts, and then balance that with others. This includes in reels and feeds.
