Continuing with our recognition, today we highlight Maritza Rodríguez, Esq. Rodríguez. Maritza opened the Rodriguez Law Firm LLC in 2012, where she practices family law and international family law. Maritza has been a volunteer with VLJ’s Divorce Program since 2013, assisting dozens of clients to successfully dissolve their marriage and move forward with their lives. She has been active in the Generation Now (young professionals) committee, and in 2021, she joined VLJ’s Board of Trustees. As a trustee, she is an active volunteer in the gala and communications committee and has a fiduciary duty to the success of the organization. Maritza says, “Thank you to VLJ for allowing me to volunteer with your amazing organization over the last few years. I leave the clinics feeling incredibly humbled and proud to be able to help so many folks. As the daughter of immigrants, it's never lost on me the importance of service and the great responsibility I have to give back to the community that has given me everything.” Thank YOU, Maritza!

Why Choose Us
Professional
Maritza brings to the table a wealth of experience in the divorce and family law practice areas. You wouldn’t want to trust your divorce, legal separation or prenuptial agreement to an attorney who only handles these types of matters occasionally, would you? Of course not! Trust these important, highly personal and life-changing legal matters to a divorce and family law specialist.
Caring
If you asked Maritza to name what she considers her greatest strengths, she would say that her ability to put herself in the place of her clients is one of her best qualities. Many attorneys can read the law and most of them can interpret it to fit a client’s set of circumstances, but it takes a gifted lawyer to take the time to listen to her clients and determine the best way to represent them in a fair and caring manner.
Committed to your goals
At the Rodríguez Family Law Firm, we are committed to helping you reach your goals. We take the time to listen to your wants and needs and explain your legal options to you. Maritza is committed to providing her clients with honest, forthcoming advice about
their legal situation.
