🧠🏡As a Realtor and a graduate student pursuing a Master’s in Psychology, I’m always connecting the dots between my two backgrounds. I find it fascinating; while real estate rarely plays a role in psychology, a vast amount of psychology goes into real estate.

🤝Beyond the technical side, this is a business built on the relationships we establish. Without those connections, we wouldn’t have the deals we do. If we don’t understand our clients’ best interests or put ourselves in their shoes, we will never reach the finish line.

🗒️While this graphic is geared more toward buyers, it serves as an important reminder of how vital psychology is to the entire process—not just for the clients, but for us as agents to truly understand those we represent. I thought this was a great little blip of the topic, and I’ll likely be creating more posts regarding this soon!

I recently attended a real estate investors expo and walked away with some great data on the current market. A common theme from speakers at Movement Mortgage ( )and Alpha Funding ( ) was the ‘Cost of Waiting.’

While many are waiting for rates to hit 4% or 5% again, historical data reminds us that the 6-7% range is actually very much in line with long-term averages. The real risk highlighted was appreciation. In many markets, home prices are rising faster than the potential savings from a future rate drop.

As an agent, my goal isn’t to time the market, but to help you find a monthly payment that fits your budget so you can start building equity now. It’s a lot easier to refinance a rate later than it is to negotiate a price from two years ago!📉📈✨
