Maran & Maran was formed in 1986 soon after I joined my father, Joe Maran, at Gateway 1 in Newark. When I joined him, he was already a seasoned and acclaimed personal injury trial lawyer. I had the privilege to train under and work with my father in a specialized personal injury and malpractice firm for 22 years until he retired. My father has since passed away. After leaving the Gateway building,

the firm moved to the Legal Center where I practiced for twenty years until I moved the firm to the other side of Penn Station at our current location.
